College Tuitions are insane.

Why is it that the youth, the generation of tomorrow, the ones who will lead the next generations of mankind. Are mistreated so badly when it comes to education in the United States of America ?

It is a tad weird when so many graduates, cannot find jobs in their field of work. The debt is still there though, thus so many are forced to take any job, or jobs to pay their bills and live life.

Why didn't they just do that, why even bother with college then if it's a financial trap ?

Whatever people will say about going after it, chasing your dreams, ect.. there are limited positions for people out there period.

A full rendering of verse 2:191 is as follows:



“And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.”



First, a few things to notice: “Expel them from wherever they have expelled you” [italics mine]. “Do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram (the “Grand Mosque” in Mecca) until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them” [italics mine]. Does anyone else notice how this verse is not asking Muslims to preemptively kill? Doesn’t this sound more like self-defense?



This falls in line with what 22:40-41 says,



“Permission to fight is given to those against whom war is made, because they have been wronged… Those who have been driven out from their homes unjustly only because they said, ‘Our Lord is God’ — And if God did not repel some men by means of others, there would surely have been pulled down temples and churches and synagogues and mosques.”



Wait–Temples, churches, and synagogues? It’s almost as if the Qur’an is for defending other religions in times of war.



For instance, notice who is killing and attacking first in 3:21,



“Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people – give them tidings of a painful punishment.”



Also, at the end of 2:193 it says,



“But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.”



Except against oppressors. You heard it.





2) “Muslims must not take infidels as friends.”



3:28 actually says:



“Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.”



Does anyone else notice the “rather than believers” part? Or how about the “except when taking precaution against them in prudence”? I wonder what other Qur’anic passages say about this:

60:8: “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” What if I told Muslims might even have been granted permission to eat with and possibly marry Christians and Jews (“People of the Book”)? Check out 5:5: “This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers.”



Let’s put it this way, if this meme is correct on face value, all the Muslims I know would not be following the Quran.

Good News For Iran - 6.5 Billion Debt to be paid by India

The Iran Peace Deal has already brought alot of benefits to Iran and it's nighbors in which the country can go on it's business as every other country can. Good news for Iran and Iranians, I'm sure the money can help out.

India’s Finance Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi has been quoted by the media in New Delhi as saying that the first installment could be provided to Iran in a week.

"What is due to them, must be paid to them. It will not be one single bullet of $6.5 billion. It will be (in) tranches. They also don't want as bullet, they also want it in some kind of tranches. So we are working out with Iran," Mehrishi told the Press Trust of India (PTI).

He further added that the payments can be in a combination of US dollar or euro and Indian rupees.

"It will obviously be partly in dollars, partly in rupee. It could be euro also. Partly hard currency, partly rupee. Exact division is yet to be decided,” Mehrishi said. "It is being worked out."

Since February 2013, refiners like Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) and Essar Oil have been paying 45 per cent of payment due on purchase of crude oil from Iran in rupees through Uco Bank, Kolkata.

The remaining has been accumulating, pending finalization of a payment route and mechanism.

They had last year paid nearly $3 billion in six installments through a limited payment channel following start of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries – the five permanent members of the Security Council plus Germany.

The outstanding has since climbed to over $6.5 billion.

Essar Oil owes $3.34 billion, MRPL ($2.49 billion) and Indian Oil Corp ($581 million) to Iran.

HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd (HMEL) owes $97 million and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) another $29 million.

Standford Big Move To Reform Education

Standford University made a big move last week by starting a program which will include tuition free education to students who's families make less then 125'000 per year.

Stanford University announced that more accepted students won’t have to pay anything for tuition, which normally runs nearly $46,000 a year.

Students whose families make less than $125,000 a year and have assets worth $300,000 or less, including home equity but excluding anything that they have saved in retirement accounts, won’t have to pay tuition. Students whose families make less than $65,000 also won’t have to pay for room and board, which can run about another $14,100. Scholarships or grants will cover the costs instead, and the school has a $21 billion endowment. The thresholds were previously $100,000 for free tuition and $60,000 for free room and board.

Students will still have to contribute at least $5,000 a year from part-time work during the school year, working during the summer, and/or savings.

“Our highest priority is that Stanford remain affordable and accessible to the most talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances,” said Provost John Etchemendy in a press release. “Our generous financial aid program accomplishes that, and these enhancements will help even more families, including those in the middle class, afford Stanford without going into debt.” The school says that 77 percent of undergraduates leave without student debt. Supreme Court Rules You can Tell Cops To Fu*k themselves

I know to many people this is good news for many sound off their frustrations and get punished for it. Now you can cuse a cop out and know your rights are protected.

Cops would have you think it is a crime to disrespect a police officer in any way. Cussing them out or giving them the middle finger? Totally illegal… right?

Well there is some great news for people who want to tell the cops to go “F” themselves, or use the “F-word” in any way against the police.

The Washington State Supreme Court just ruled on Thursday that using such language against the police is completely protected by the First Amendment.

The Washington State Supreme Court handed down on an opinion on Thursday that threw out charges in a 2011 obstruction case in which police were called to a Seattle home for an alleged disturbance.

The case involved a 17-year-old juvenile, identified as “Jordan” by his lawyer, who cursed at officers when they responded to a call at his house. Jordan’s mother had called 911 to ask them to “remove her intoxicated and belligerent daughter.”

In the court’s majority opinion, Associate Chief Justice Charles Johnson said that, while Jordan’s “words may have been disrespectful, discourteous and annoying, they are nonetheless constitutionally protected.”

Seattle Police spokesperson Sgt. Sean Whitcomb and the Seattle Police Officer’s Guild said that the ruling was not exactly a surprise.

“I think all of us in this profession have been yelled at and called things not suitable for a family audience,” Whitcomb told the Seattle Times. Whitcomb noted that officers frequently encounter foul language while on the job; it comes with the territory and that’s not a good reason to charge someone with obstruction.

The head of the officers guild, Ron Smith, mentioned that first amendment rights in the United States tend to be pretty lenient.

“We live in a country where burning the sacred U.S. flag is protected speech, so it is not surprising that no matter how vile the language is directed toward a police officer, that speech is, too, protected,” Smith said.

An Office of Professional Accountability report on obstruction charges in Seattle indicate that black residents are disproportionately hit with the charges.
